Vacancy for Civil Design drafter

PT. INAMCO VARIA JASA specializes in the supply, management and development of workforces for the Indonesian mining, energy, and infrasructure development sectors. We have more than two decades of experience supplying complete workforces or selected work groups to meet the short and long term employment requirements of major Indonesian and International clients on projects and operatons throughout Indonesia. Our Client is an Engineering, Procurement and Construction Company and seeking a high qualified candidate for the following position :

POSITION TITLE : Civil Design Drafter("CDF")

Responsibilities :

- Responsible for the technical direction of design work.

- Planning, assigning and scheduling work and will be responsible for the progress and quality of drawings of a small section or group of designers/drafters generally assigned to a single project or working in a specialised field.

- Provides technical guidance and may make recommendations to management on the performance and development of others within the group.

- To work unsupervised and carry out all facets of civil design work in areas such as subdivision design, sewers, storm-water, earthworks and road design.

- To lead a team of drafters on specific projects.

- To produce documentation for other project drafters multidisciplinary skills will be advantageous here).

- To build up base work of civil projects in the office.

Requirements:

- Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience or a diploma or approved equivalent and 6 to 8 years’ experience

- Must be able to demonstrate an excellent civil design knowledge (conceptual design, design, set-out and detail)

- Have a good working knowledge of the way major civil consultants and government authorities work with regard to their relevant standards and related requirements.

- Have a good communication and interpersonal skills

- Sometimes be a requirement to work additional hours to assist in meeting deadlines

- Must be able to demonstrate a high level of skill in the use of AutoCAD and Micro-station

- Experience in 12D is desirable.
