IT Support – Scala
JOB DESCRIPTION
Server Support
ü Maintain File Servers (Windows NT, 2000, and 2003)
ü Apply Service packs when necessary
ü Fix hardware problems/upgrades
ü NT Users/Shares/Permissions Maintenance
ü Maintain Network Printers
ü Maintain Lotus Notes Server (Windows NT & Lotus Domino R6)
ü Perform daily backup’s of all servers (ArcServe)
Network Support
ü Maintain and troubleshoot the LAN/WAN environment under supervision by ASAP Core IS members.
ü Report to ASAP Core IS members when the communication line and Internet break down.
Scala 5.1 SQL – Local ERP system
ü Provide local user support on operating the Scala system.
ü Assist Logistic department to calculate and import Standard Cost, Selling Price in the Scala system.
ü Develop / modify user reports using Seagate reporting tool.
ü Assist ASAP Core members when implement new features in Scala system.
Lotus Notes
ü User support
ü Installation & configuration for local & remote users
ü User training & general support
ü Server Administration
ü Ensure smooth running of Notes server with proactive monitoring and preventative maintenance
User Hardware/Software Support
ü New PC Installations/Configurations (IBM Brand)
ü Software installations (Microsoft & Lotus Notes products)
ü Simple upgrades & repairs
ü Troubleshooting on hardware and software
ü General User support on supported software
ü Mainstream Microsoft products & Lotus Notes
Skills & Experience Required
ü Microsoft Windows Server Platforms: NT/2000/2003 (English Version)
ü Microsoft Windows 95/98/2000 Prof/XP Prof (English)
ü Microsoft Office Products
ü Lotus Domino R6 Server and Lotus Notes R6.x
ü LAN/WAN support
Additional Skills & Experience will be useful
ü Scala 5.1
ü SQL Server 7.0 / SQL Server 2000 Administration
ü VBA for Excel
