Vacancy for Accounting Manager

<>In line with this strategic move, the client has articulated the need for highly qualified accounting professionals who would assist the company in ensuring efficient controls and processes are in place as he assumes this key role as:

ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Accountable to the Senior Finance Manager, you will be responsible to: provide timely and reliable operating statements, monitor and control financial data and transaction integrity, review Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Procedure testing, Sarbanes Oxley assurance, monitor performance vis-à-vis head office’s long term business plans and strategies as well as oversee the information technology support to ensure integrity of data.

To best fit, you should have at least:

- 6 to 8 years accounting and finance experience (last 2-3 years in a management role),

- ideally honed in a large multinational set up. In your late 20’s to mid 30’s,

- able to demonstrate a successful track record and significant experience in financial analysis, Indonesian accounting standards and tax knowledge.

- Know-how in Sarbanes Oxley is a plus for you to be equipped in tackling the challenges of this role.

<>The following credentials are also sought for by the position:

• A Bachelor Degree in Accounting earned from a reputable university;
• A minimum of six (6) to eight (8) years professional hands-on experience in handling financial reporting, management information, and business planning role;
• Excellent interpersonal skills; can work with and through people of various backgrounds and can interface within all levels in the organization;
• Work with autonomy while working as a member of various teams; Have self initiative and able to motivate the team;
• Good and effective communication skills as you liaise with a culturally diverse work force including regional counterparts;
• Highest level of professional and personal integrity;
• Independent, decisive and is self-driven.

An excellent written / verbal English communication skill is a must. Exposure in the energy/ Oil & Gas industry sector and Sarbanes Oxley knowledge would be definite pluses.
