JOB VACANCY

Our Client is a reputable mining contractor company creates opportunities qualified professionals to join its dynamic organization for the following position :

POSITION TITLE : SITE HR SPECIALIST

JOB PURPOSE :

· Provide comprehensive HR services for the Balikpapan Support Facility (“BSF”)

· Communicate and Implement Corporate Human Resources policies and procedures from Corporate HR Department.

· Provide Corporate HR Department with appropriate Human Resources report.

· Assist BSF Manager and/or Project Manager in recruiting and maintaining high qualified personnel.

· Assist BSF Manager and/or Project Manager in dealing with any employee - industrial relation issues.

· Conduct benchmarking activities relating to the full range of HR issues in the site.

· Actively contribute to a positive team work environment at all times.

· Provide consultation and advise to BSF Manager and/or Project Manager in term of Human Resource and Industrial Relations

· Seek the new trend and issues of Industrial Relations from surrounding industry community

· Take an active role on every aspect of Human Resources and Industrial Relations

· Comply with all applicable laws, regulations and statutory obligation

JOB DESCRIPTIONS :

Human Resource Implementation

· Implement Corporate HR policy & procedure on site.

· Actively participate in human resource management benchmarking activities.

· Conduct a skills audit and gap analysis for site personnel.

· Manage the performance management process at site.

Human Resources Development

· Identify and implement strategies for improving effectiveness and efficiency of site personnel.

· Development of position descriptions for all roles at site.

· Identify trends and developments requirement in site Human Resources field.

· Actively review the potential site Human Resources issues for further development.

Consultation and Advise

· Provide consultation and advice to BSF Manager and/or Project Manager with respect to Human Resource and Industrial Relations matters.

· Identify new trends and issues in Human Resources from the surrounding community and industry.

· Take an active role in every aspect of Human Resources and Industrial Relations.

Recruitment

· Implement the Corporate Recruitment policy & procedure.

· Manage site recruitment activities.

· Preparation of site recruitment status reports.

Industrial Relations Implementation

· Implement the Corporate Employee – Industrial Relations policy & procedure.

· Assist Corporate Industrial Relations Department in developing site’s CLA.

· Coordinating site’s employee – Industrial Relations activities.

· Keeping abreast of employee - Industrial Laws, Legislation, Rules, Regulations, and case decisions.

· Seeking the new trend and issues of Industrial Relations from surrounding industry community.

· Advising and providing concurrence on certain Industrial Relations and bargaining strategies.

· Actively representing Company in Industrial cases resolution when appropriate.

· Maintaining close contacts with governmental agencies, union leaders, and others with respect to employee - Industrial Relations matters.

Industrial Relations Development

· Identify trends and developments requirement in site Industrial Relations field

· Actively review the site potential Industrial Relations issues for further development

JOB SPECIFICATIONS :

QUALIFICATIONS

· S1 Degree in any field of study preferably in management, human resources, or Industrial Relation

· Relevant course completed in human resources management

KNOWLEDGE

Employee Relations; Industrial Relations management; Human resources management; Human resources filling & administration; Manpower legislation & regulation; Recruitment process; Emerging trends in human resources

SKILLS

Analytical thinking; Human resources database; Use of Ms office; Negotiator; Human relation; Report writing; Time management; Facilitating and Consulting Skill.

EXPERIENCE

· Minimum of 5 years experience in general human resources management

· Experience in dealing with labor union & government institution; in writing report and managing time

LOCATION :

Willing to be relocated at mining jobsite (Kalimantan)
