Job Description
Job Title : Corrosion Engineer
Work Location : Miri
Commencing : Immediate (Duration 2 years)
Corrosion Engineer
- Shall have at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering,
Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, Corrosion Engineering or
equivalent.
- He shall have at least ten (10) years experience in Corrosion
Engineering, with particular emphasis on (i) design, monitoring and
maintenance of Cathodic Protection Systems, (ii) conversion of
operating parameters into corrosion predictions and, (iii) computer
literacy
- Be fully conversant with the corrosion and cathodic
protection monitoring techniques, and the operation
of "Cosasco", "CorrOcean" or equivalent types pressure access
fittings, service valves and retrievers as applied to onshore and
offshore oil and gas field installations.
