Job Synopsis

Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Manager, the purpose of this role is to lead the mechanical maintenance Planning process to safely and timely deliver the outputs expected in the BlueScope Steel Indonesia and Manufacturing business plan on a day to day, week to week and Yearly basis, deliver continuous improvement outcomes in the maintenance planning area in cost, down time management, also develop Key Performance Indicator on effectiveness of maintenance process in order to achieved Equipment reliability as targeted.

Your role is critical in ensuring the equipment reliability target is achieved by skills and competencies you have are built and maintained. This role description reflects a substantial increase in the focus in planning, managing and execution, in order to deliver the required results of the role, you will need to ensure that others in your department do the ‘technical work’ required of delivering of maintenance job.

Specifically, this role leads a team of mechanical focused on the maintain and improvement of manufacturing equipment reliability aligned to the business needs of BlueScope Steel Indonesia. This role is also to act as “gatekeeper” for all maintenance and repair work in the department to ensure work is meeting department goals in terms of cost, time and reliability. An understanding of BlueScope Steel Indonesia business objectives is therefore essential.

Qualifications & Experience required

    · Degree or Diploma Qualified (engineering)

    · Experience in maintenance Planning role.

    · An advance experienced in Steel processing Industry or similar.

    · Familiar with computerized maintenance management System such us SAP or Movex or others.

    · Familiar able to operate project planning soft ware such us Mic Project. And analyze the man hr requirement, allocation and critical part of total schedule.

    · Familiar with mechanical equipment such us Hydraulic System, Rotating equipment i.e pumps, blower, compressor, gearbox ; and other power and liquid transport system

    · Capable to develop Job Order Package.

    · Familiar with spare management buying, store, searching.
